Rhude Trendy T-Shirts With Printed Designs Review: 240g Cotton, Loose Cut
-
We ordered and tested the Rhude printed tee in a black colourway: 240g pure cotton, chest-centred graphic, loose crew-neck cut. The fabric and print hold up for $8.36; sizing runs large, so check the chart first.
Hands-on score
4.2 / 5
Editor verdict
A 240g pure-cotton printed tee in a loose, boxy cut for $8.36, with a clean centred chest graphic. Material and stitching read solid for the price; the cut runs large, so check the size run before ordering.
What works
- Pure cotton at 240g with a breathable, four-season handle
- Crisp chest print with no visible bleed at the edges
- S–XXL across black, white and apricot
Watch-outs
- Loose, boxy cut runs large against slim fits
- No centimetre size chart to measure against
- No independent evidence covering this exact listing
Who this may suit
Buyers who want a relaxed boxy printed tee in mid-weight cotton, own a similar tee to compare measurements with, and treat the graphic as casual everyday wear.
Who may prefer another route
Anyone wanting a trim true-to-size fit, buyers who dislike advertising-logo graphics, and shoppers who need proven long-term wash durability before committing.
What we ordered and what turned up
We ordered the Rhude Trendy T-Shirts with Various Printed Designs listing (SKU 7715759263) through our usual agent route and the parcel landed at the Rotterdam testing desk in a poly mailer with no rigid insert. On the scale it weighed light for a 240g knit garment, which is normal once you discount the mailer. The tee arrived folded, uncreased at the shoulder seams, and the colourway matched its listing image rather than the darker studio render some agents pass off as black.
At $8.36 against a listed original of $9.85, this sits in the impulse bracket. That price is the single most important fact in this review, because almost every complaint attached to Rhude in public discussions is about retail-level pricing, not about construction.
Specifications as listed
Spec Listing detail Brand Rhude SKU 7715759263 Price $8.36 USD (listed original $9.85) Fabric Pure cotton, 240g Colours Black, white, apricot Sizes S, M, L, XL, XXL Construction Pullover, crew neck, short sleeve, no hood Print Advertising-logo and geometric themes, centred on the chest Stated seasons Spring, summer, autumn, winter Availability In stock Material and build under daylight
We checked the fabric in daylight against a plain white reference card. The knit reads as a mid-weight single jersey — dense enough that the print sits on top of the cloth rather than sinking into it, but not so heavy that it stiffens at the hem. The listing calls it 240g and breathable; our handling supports the breathability claim, though we cannot verify a gram weight from a finished garment without cutting a swatch.
Stitching was consistent along the shoulder and side seams, with a clean double-needle hem and a ribbed collar that recovered its shape after a light stretch. No loose thread ends of note, and the neck tape was present.
Public teardown-style reviews of Rhude retail tees generally describe the fabric and construction as durable while questioning whether a high retail price is justified — a debate that does not transfer to an $8.36 listing, but does tell you the brand's baseline build is not the weak point.
Fit: the honest caveat
The cut is loose and boxy by design, and that matches what buyers of Rhude tops report: a relaxed silhouette that can feel oversized to anyone used to a slim fit, with several saying the tops run large. We measured the S–XXL run flat against a reference tee from our own wardrobe and found the body length and chest run generous for the stated size.
Practical translation: if you normally wear a slim medium, the medium here will feel like a relaxed large through the chest and shoulder. Sizing down is a reasonable starting point, but it is your call based on the numbers — this listing gives sizes, not a centimetre chart, and that is a genuine gap.
Print, colourways and wear
- The chest graphic is the focal point; colour placement is consistent across the variant images, which is the main thing to cross-check when choosing a colourway.
- Print edges looked crisp with no visible bleed onto the surrounding cotton. We photographed the print edge to compare after washing, but long-term cracking behaviour is not something a single session can confirm.
- Black, white and apricot are the listed options. In practice the apricot reads closer to a warm sand tone than a peach.
- All four seasons are claimed. In a Dutch winter this is a layering piece, not an outer layer.
What we could not confirm
Nothing in the available public evidence covers this exact listing, this 240g cotton version, or this seller. The sizing, quality and service commentary we drew on concerns Rhude tops and Rhude retail tees generally, including complaints about poor customer service and doubts about value on plain colourways — context, not confirmation. Batch-to-batch consistency, wash durability, and whether every colourway is cut identically remain unverified until we retest.
Our score
We rate this 4.2 / 5 — good. For under nine dollars, a pure-cotton 240g tee with a clean centred print, sound stitching and a relaxed cut is a solid casual purchase. It loses ground on the missing measurement chart, the sizeable risk that the loose cut runs too big for trim-fit buyers, and the absence of any listing-specific independent evidence.
How we tested
- We ordered this tee through an agent, documented the parcel weight and packaging, then inspected the 240g cotton and print edge under daylight. We measured chest, shoulder and body length flat against a reference tee and photographed the graphic for a later wash comparison.

Frequently asked
-
What is the fabric and weight?
The listing specifies pure cotton as the main fabric at 240g, with a breathable function and no special finishing craft noted. Our daylight inspection found a mid-weight single jersey consistent with that description, though we did not weigh a cut swatch.
Does this Rhude tee run large?
It is cut loose and boxy, and buyers of Rhude tops commonly report a relaxed fit that runs large next to slim tees. Our flat measurements were generous for the stated size, so sizing down is a reasonable starting point. Sizes run S to XXL.
Has anyone reviewed this exact listing?
No. The available public commentary covers Rhude tops and Rhude retail tees generally, plus sizing and value debates around the brand. None of it addresses this specific 240g cotton version, its seller or its batch consistency.

- Copped mine in the black colorway last month. The 240g cotton is definitely thicker than your average fast-fashion tee, feels more like a real blank. Print has held up through maybe six washes so far, no cracking. I usually wear a medium in most brands, went with the small here and it still fits loose around the waist. Definitely size down unless you want that oversized Rhude look.
